Japanese company Endo Lighting Corp. was looking for a drone operator, gimbal videographer and interior photographer in Cambodia that could shoot and assemble a video reel of all their lighting installations at the recently-opened AEON Mall Mean Chey in Phnom Penh.
The client wanted to show the shifting hues of the lights during the day and the various use cases and locations of their installations in the new mega-mall. We had two days with one dedicated architectural photographer and one video and drone operator to capture all the needed footage and still images, that later were to be edited into a final product-showcase video. The local drone operator also had to be able to navigate his drone inside the huge mall, as for some video takes a gimbal-mounted camera was not sufficient enough. Of course, a shooting permit from AEON Mall was required for these endeavors.
